Major Changes

Listening to: dead silence...

Since nobody reads this, I don't have to make excuses for long absences!

Big things have happened since I last wrote. Abbreviated:

Daughter got married - beautiful, fun, relaxed. I'm still grinning. It was different, but so perfect.

Graduated. Yeah! Had two very special visitors to watch me walk. Finally!

Last class - trip to Greece and Italy for internation business course. Wow. I loved Athens. Rome... eh... it was ok. But the Greeks... yeah. Excellent indeed. I want to go back.

New job - YESSSSS... pay increase is quite substantial.

New place - the job is out of town, so I have an apartment during the week, drive home on Friday night, back on Sunday evening or Monday morning (SUPER early).

New projects - too numerous to mention, I'll try to update and do pics but gosh, there have been so many.

Right now I have several in motion... two shawls, a baby afghan, socks, and a bag that will be felted when complete.

Sadly, there are some projects in the "In Progress" section that are still not complete. The Jaywalker socks. Why oh why are they so tough to finish??? There's just something about them - it's not the yarn... I love the pattern play of colors. The Boku Circle Vest. Yawn... round and round and round and .... the colors are just not me. I wanted something else, but there was not enough, so I settles. Listen girls, never settle.

Good news. In my new locale, there is a fabulous yarn shop! I absolutely love the ladies who work there. And how convenient... there is a locally owned (NOT a chain) fabric/sewing store just two shops down. I'm in heaven...
