Busy Weekend

Went down to the farm this weekend. Lots of projects going! The big one of course was getting the first hip joint finished on the porch. That old adage "Measure twice, cut once"? It was more like measure once, cut 3 or 4 times. Hah!

Alyssa asked me to make a sweater for her stuffed cat toy Meowie. I found some old acrylic yarn (with a Montgomery Ward label!) and a scrap of eyelash yarn, and got to work. Forgot to take a pic, but she loved it and it FIT.
This morning I woke way before the alarm and finished the yellow/pink socks. Yarn is Kertzer's On Your Toes in Sunset Print infused with aloe vera. Another stash resident bites the dust (and goes into the gift box).
A new pair started of a self-striping blue/turquoise. Yarn is Stanza from Wisdom Yarns, been sitting around in The Stash for a few years. I'm doing a simple 4-stitch rib cable for the leg.
