What a gorgeous day! Dazzling sunlight, blue skies, and the promise of temps in the 50s. I noticed a few of my daffodils blooming this morning as I pulled out of the drive. Yay!
Knitting at Grace's
Last night was the monthly knit and chat at Grace's Cafe. The place was hopping! Son was along; gave him money for dinner at Burritoville a block away, then he came back to do homework and read while he waited.
I got in a few rounds on Kerry Blue - they're starting to get rather long (300+ stitches and growing). Soon she'll need to go on longer needles, which means a trip to St. Louis. Like that would hurt me. ;)
Sandy, one of the gals there and a long-time friend, was wearing a beautiful shawl she had done from an online pattern... a mystery shawl-thing. She's going to send me a link when she comes across it. Each week that the pattern was published, a different lace pattern was revealed.
Other Stuff
Today should be a fairly gentle day. Financial management class has been cancelled which means only Management Info Systems at 2. Also need to post a comment on the Plants and Humanity forum by midnight, which shouldn't be an issue.
That's all for now!
