Listening to: Enigma Love Sensuality Devotion
At lunch I ran out to pick something up for Steph (student worker) and me to eat, and holy crap, I did NOT want to come back. It's gorgeous today... sunny, blue blue BLUE sky, 58 degrees. Every street I turned onto was exploding with spring color of one flavor or another - daffodils, forsythia, the beginnings of azaleas, Bradford pear trees.
Last night was supposed to be happy hour with Amanda, but she ended up having a horrible day, with extra work that would keep her much later than closing. I think it was her last day there - I would have walked out, but she is a better person than I am. She starts a different job next week or end of this week, I can't remember.
Tonight is a big test in production/operations management class. It's open book and open note which sounds great, but in reality it makes me lazy about studying. Most of the work is fairly easy, and I did go through and type up all the vocabulary for each of the chapters, with page numbers for reference. Makes it easier to look up a subject that way. Two of my other classes have fairly large projects coming up quickly. A website (two, actually, and an Excel workbook) for MIS; a written report and powerpoint on Sustainable Agriculture. Both are group projects, one is for a web class so most work has to be communicated through email. ugh. Saturday morning I'm signed up for the third writing proficiency exam that is required for graduation. While I can't say I'm particularly looking forward to it, I'm not freaking about it. I know how to write a clear essay, especially when given the resources. It's just a Saturday morning trapped in a classroom instead of outside!
