No cleaning was done in this household today. The paper hasn't been written yet. Grocery shopping is done AND.... check this out!!! The shawl is finished and blocking on the bed. Let's hope it dries by bedtime (I think it will - it was already nearly dry by the time I put the last pins in the border) or we'll be sleeping on the floor. Ron wasn't too keen on that idea.
Specs:
Pattern - Kerry Blue Shawl from Traditional Knitted & Lace Shawls by Martha Waterman. I have one of the earlier editions with tons of mistakes. Luckily, I had corrections.
Yarn - Merino Oro from Ornaghi Filati. Color 060 (deep teal)... 1375 yds/100g. Used less than one skein, barely over half I'd estimate.Size - Dressed size is 53".
I used a crochet-off edging, 2 stitches single crocheted together, then chain 7.
