I had an up-and-down night, weird dreams I don't recall, finally falling into a good sleep to the beginnings of a gentle rain hitting the roof. It's still sprinkling, but didn't Mom say "rain before 7, clear by 11"? We'll see.
Today's ToDo List:
- Write Briggs & Stratton paper for tomorrow
- Plant flowers in deck pots
- Finish (yes, finish!!!) the Kerry Blue shawl
- Clean living room (ick)
- Grocry shop (double ick)
There's a hummingbird feeder on the deck, and I can see it from my bedroom window. A little ruby-throated rooster has been visiting, but so far I have only seen one hen which is odd. Usually there are several girls vying for the feeder spots, dive-bombing each other, chirruping and scolding. There have been a couple times when I'm sitting on the deck and thought sure they were going to run into me in their zeal to chase each other off. Territorial little gals!
Time to finish my cuppa joe and knock out #3... maybe more later!
