Sigh of relief

Listening to: Flametrick Subs Mad Scientist

What a perfect spring day... light breeze, sun, mid 70s. Couldn't ask for better really. I stopped at the local garden/produce store for freshpicked strawberries and ended up with several plants as well. Most of them I've already gotten planted - basil, impatiens, spearmint and Italian oregano - and I can still smell the herbs where they brushed my shirt and face (yeah, I really got INTO planting today).

Haven't gotten much knitting done lately but still plugging away on the squiggle scarf. This morning I worked on a smocked dress for my niece Lauren and got quite a bit done. When I'm finished with writing, there's a black t-shirt dress cut out (for me!), waiting to be sewn... and I have a couple other pieces of fabric and patterns for a sundress and a blouse, plus a pair of wrap pants to take down to Donna's.

Before I get started on sewing, I think those strawberries are calling my name....
