RAIN!!!! (nekkid happy dance!)

Listening to: Back Country on KDHX

Ron had to be up early today - nothing like the phone ringing at 5 am. Getting back to sleep just wasn't working, so I picked up the Neopolitan socks and they are now finished. Whoo!
Specs:
Generic sock pattern, cuff down, double-pointed needles (US 1 1/2)
Trekking sock yarn - don't have the label with me, but they look like neopolitan ice cream. With fudge sauce. Yum.

I didn't have time to cast on for the new pair this morning, but did bring the yarn along in my bag. These will be for Ron - a mix of ivory, shades of grey, and bits of black. I have no idea if the yarn is self striping or random. It'll be a surprise. :)

We pulled a few ears of sweet corn last night, enough for a supper mess. There were a few cherry tomatoes ready, and we had fresh blackberries too. The coons have discovered the corn, and several stalks were torn down and the ears ripped up. Grrrr. Even when we had a dog, the coons acted like they owned the place - I don't know how many times we found corn stalked hanging up in the pecan tree.

Time for me to get back to work...
