This morning I bound off Feather and Fan. It was time for that project to be DONE, even if the pattern continued on for another 40 rows. As it is, gently pulled out on my bed, it measures 72" diameter. I'm gonna have to block it on the floor at work - that's the only place I have large enough for the thing. But oh my, it is just gorgeous, if I can brag on my own work...

Specs:
Pattern - Feather and Fan Shawl, A Gathering of Lace by Meg Swansen.
Yarn - no-name Shetland 2-ply, cone yarn purchased in grab bag from Webs in (ouch) 1985-ish. Denimy gray-blue.
Needles - Bamboo US 9.
Raggedy Ann, lounging against the pillows (she NEVER puts on any clothes, the hussy... ) was a hand-me-down from my paternal grandma. I'm not sure who all else gave her luvin', but as you can see, her face is worn off, her striped legs have been patched over, and geez, you oughta see the bald spot on the back of her head. For several years she sat on an old wooden kid's rocker at my mother's house, but at Christmas, Mom sent her home to live with me now, where she spends her days snoozing on my bed.
