Busy Week

School started Monday for the university, and this has been a really busy week. Aside from the normal problems with equipment malfunctions and faculty ineptness (not all of them are offenders), renovations haven't been completed in all areas. This means coordination with facilities mgt. folks and classroom scheduling, moving classes to other rooms temporarily and making sure students figure out where they are supposed to go. I'm wupped.

This semester I'm taking three classes: Telecommunications Management; eCommerce & Webpage Design; Database Systems Management. All of them more meaty classes in my major, finally, and I'm looking forward to cramming my brain full.

A minor clarification on the photo of the pink socks in the previous post: those are NOT "another pair" for Ron. While he looks good in a pink shirt, he would draw the line at pink socks. No sense of adventure, eh? The first one is past the heel, working on the instep. The Rosy Fingered Dawn shawl is coming along as well. I try to get one or two rounds done each day, working a little in the morning before I have to rout Daniel out of bed for school, and then again in the evening. The next round has over 450 stitches so it does take a while.

Tonight is a wedding gown fitting for a friend. I'm doing her alterations, and those of a couple bridesmaids too. Then home, homework, beer, knit. ahhhhh
