Yes yes, I'm sitting here in Pizza Hut across from the university, drinking a Budweiser (gasp choke) and blogging. It's rather bright for a Hut, like I'm on an operating table, but one of the workers is a friend and that's always a good thing.
Another absolutely lovely day today, but of course since tomorrow is Saturday there is rain in the forecast. *sigh* Tuesday evening when I got home, the spring peepers were well... peeping in the little wet-weather waterhole in the field across the road. A sure sign that winter is losing its grip.
Yesterday the university put on a career fair, and I handed out a couple of resumes, got some nibbles and some internship ideas. This weekend I plan to follow up with emails to those folks who gave their address out.
Other weekend plans (as if):
- Knitting (ok, that's going to happen, no doubt)
- Start taxes
- Clean bathroom (before the scrubbing bubbles strike due to inhumane working conditions)
- Sew something wearable
- Clean up the garden/nose through seed catalogs and drool
It looks like my battery is getting close to the end, so it's time to wrap this up!
