Gurrrrrjeous...

Yes, that's what the weather is like today... simply gurrrrgeous.

Listening to: When I Awoke Rusted Root (who can listen to Drum Trip and sit still??)

So it's just beautiful outside - temps are unbelievable (62F!), and the sun is so warm. Too bad I couldn't have taken the day off - I'd be sitting outside, knitting, getting a little vitamin D treatment. *cough* golly, I might be coming down with something...

Tomorrow is a career/intership fair at the university, and I'm finally to a point where I think I should attend. My resume is ready, and I have some good references. Now's the part when I get scared! Another act is coming to an end, the curtain starts to fall, and the crew is moving stuff around behind the scenes getting ready for the next act.

Several projects have been finished at home. Ron's navy socks are complete, a pair of KPPM socks for myself in purples are finished, and two more pair have been started: Jaywalkers and some with mock baby cable rib for the leg. Photos soon.

Homework is really taking more of my time lately. Tomorrow is a second test in System Analysis and Design. A week from this Friday is our first test in Visual Basic 2. Both classes actually make sense to me, even though the VB class moves at an ungodly pace.

Monday was Daniel's 17th birthday. We don't really do much for birthdays, but I DO let the kids choose the meal and the kind of cake. Daniel decided on Papa Murphy's pizza (it's a fresh-made, bake at home place) and chocolate cake with white icing. I had to harass him and put those little hard sugar decorations on top - balloons and squiggles in green and blue.

That's all for today, folks!
