And another beautiful day. Yesterday was sunny and VERY windy! I tried knitting on the front porch and nearly got blown away. Ok, not really. Daniel's sock #1 is to the toe decreases, so should be finished up soon, and I've been working on the Circle Vest most mornings before leaving for work. Not much, but it seems that if I devote that little time to one project, I see results.

On to the Swallowtail shawl - I gifted it today to one of the instructors (I don't have her as a teacher, she just works downstairs) who has been really kind to me. When I first started knitting the shawl, she saw me working on it at lunch one day and liked the colors. We also chuckled about the vinegar smell from the dyes. As I mentioned before, the shawl finally got blocked, and I thought she would enjoy it. She's a real sweetie. The lily of the valley sprays don't show out very well in the handdyed yarn, but she still liked it.
