Project Status
Finished:
- Navy Mountain Colors Socks - last Friday
- Daniel's quilt top. Need to buy backing/batting
- Four more blocks for a fan quilt. Ok, technically not a finished project, but heck, they ARE finished!
- Painting my toenails
In Immediate Progress:
- White baby afghan. Past the midway point! This is out of an ewww acrylic boucle, using the basic corner-to-corner dishcloth pattern. Not my favorite yarn to work with, but easy care for a mom. No baby in mind at this point, just getting rid of yarn in the stash.
- Navy marl XXL Trekking socks for Ron. Started Friday evening after finishing the Mountain Colors socks.
- Burgundy Boring sweater. Took this to knit group last night and got a good chunk of the front finished. The yarn turns my hands a lovely rosy shade.
- Melon Shawl. About half done with the body, hoping there will be enough yarn. If not, the border would be nice in a solid navy to contrast with the teal blue heather (there's navy in it). Hm. Lots of navy projects...
As of Tuesday, we had 10 calves in the 'nursery.' One is a pale grey/tan with gorgeous black eyes. Its hair is curly, and from a distance it looks rather lambish.
