Listening to: Rain. And thunder. And the bird chirping.

I was hoping the rain would hold off. I have a 6-pack of impatiens in the car along with a couple of planters. They will wait.

Last night at knit group I finished another SummerLin bodice. This is slated for the daughter of a fellow worker, if I ever happen to see him. Most of us seem to be working from home these days. I know I get more done, can concentrate better, blablabla. I was also able to finish/wash/block the Noro Kureyon Sock shawl, but didn't get a photo of it before I delivered it to my LYS last night. The owner is going to display it for a while, which is just fine - it's too warm for a shawl anyway!

I stopped at the Hot Shots just down the road. It's the first time in there since they used to be Kriegers (and closed down). It's more open, good waitresses at the bar, and Cardinals on the TV. I normally sit and read when I'm at a sports bar/grill, and tonight was no exception. It isn't difficult to follow baseball and keep track of where I am in a book. Current read is Banana... quite interesting, much like Salt was. Anyway, the place has good fish sandwiches and Blue Moon...

That's all there is for tonight!
