Peace and Quiet

Listening to: Glen Campbell Ghost on the Canvas

I love this - the last studio album Mr. Campbell did. There's not a song on it that I don't like. He has Alzheimer's and is doing his last tour. I would love to see him. He'll always be the Rhinestone Cowboy!

How much does a gall bladder weigh? I'm that much lighter as of yesterday. Patty drove me to the hospital, and it was yanked. Home by 2ish, and already puttering around. Lots of naps though. I really like DePaul Hospital. The nurses were so friendly, in such a good mood, they had me laughing so hard! And one of the things they send home with patients is a little casserole in a foil pan with baking instructions - so you don't have to think about what to eat when you get home. I fixed it last night - there's enough for at least 2 or 3 more meals! It's a very unique idea.

Alas, I cannot drive for a couple days, so I'm stuck up here. I was trying to get Ron to come up for the weekend, but I'm not sure he will. He's got things to take care of on the farm. If he doesn't, I'll have a nice quiet weekend ushering in the new year, and won't mind a bit. As long as milk and cereal hold out, I'm fine! I've been doing some spinning on a lovely handdyed merino. The colorway is Swamp Thang from Frabjous Fibers, and is absolutely delicious to work with.

That's all for now, I feel another nap coming on! zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
