Snow! Yay!

This morning I woke up to a little over an inch of fine soft snow. I was dressed and out at 6:30 with the broom sweeping off the deck and walkway - wanted to get it cleared before too many folks packed it down. The apartment management sent guys around about 11 with shovels, but it would have been a little late. I learned my lesson last year after falling flat on my face. The snow is still coming down, just flurries though.

Last night was knit group and it was really enjoyable. The ladies (and gents) were in fine fine form, and I laughed til my side hurt. Worked on a sock, but mostly just reveled in the chatter and laughter.

I'm working from home today. Got a nice fire going in the fireplace. I need Daniel to get some wood ready for me to bring back on Monday morning. Having my lunch on the living room rug in front of the fire, it's almost like a picnic. :)
