Spring Fever

Listening to: Wanda Jackson Queen of Rockabilly

I'm not a huge fan of hot dogs, but I've been smelling them for about 2 hours. Either someone is cooking them or my nose is messed up. It's making me hungry!

One of my projects du jour is spinning up a mess of Swamp Thing wool. It's coming along nicely:

I'm also working on a couple of lace shawls - one I've made before, a large round from the Victorian Lace Today book in a deep teal laceweight. The second is a freebie from Ravelry (I think) in a hand dyed lavender sock weight wool that I picked up as a closeout at Tuesday Morning. And for myself, a linen garter stitch cardigan, done on large needles so it's airy and open, and just has one large button.

Anna has been busy in the garden. Every weekend when I go home there is more planted. She installed a package of bees in a hive yesterday evening, and chicks are coming the first part of May! It's going to be a very busy spring and summer, but I'm looking forward to it.
