Watching: Wallander on Netflix

Just about finished with sleeve #1 on Krydda. Four rounds of garter to go, then pick up for sleeve #2. I'm pretty excited about getting this off the needles. It will be a good semi-dressy sweater that will go well with a black dress or jeans or just about anything really. Since the office tends to be on the freeezing side, I have to take something to wrap around or wear over.

I always enjoy coming close to the end of one project, when I start mulling over the next thing to start. There are some UFOs that should be tackled, but I don't even have them on the In Progress list yet.

Today is Grandgirl #2's second birthday. I miss both of those girls already, even though I did not have much chance to see them while they lived close, with work getting in the way. 

Speaking of work - the rumor is that Monday is the day for emails to go out telling us if we're fired or safe. But I don't really trust 'safe' anymore. It's difficult to do your best work when you have to constantly worry about having a job. I don't know how many folks are on the chopping block this time. Our team has streamlined and cut corners just about as much as possible. Taking on extra work ... well, it will just be added stress on top of stress.

I am trying to take the attitude that whatever happens is for the best. Worrying will not change whether I keep the job. "Casting all your cares on Him, for he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7.
