So far, so good...

Listening to: Tom Waits' Blue Valentine CD

Sunday, I thought this was going to be a week from hell, but Monday... wow, couldn't ask for better. Sun and almost tooo warm but who's going to complain? Trees are starting to bloom, and daffodils are out in full force. Even the dandelions are turning well-manicured lawns into calico patchwork, and I love it.

Yesterday I had a quiz in production/operations management that turned out to be a no-brainer, even though I fretted over it. Five simple questions taken from the first few pages of the first chapter we were assigned, plus it was open book/open note, multiple choice, online. I love immediate feedback... In the afternoon was a test in financial management, and yeah, I worried about it too. It ended up being one of the easier tests I've had in a long time, but that always scares me - walking out of a test with 30 minutes left.

I tried knitting on a black lace shawl that was started Sunday (like I don't have enough projects). It wasn't too far along, and somehow I messed up and decided to rip it all out. Tried a different pattern, after nosing through several books. Got a few rows into it and decided I didn't like it, so yeah, out that came too. How about we just say I practiced ripping last night. We had rented Truman Story - I'd seen it before but enjoy it - so I just put everything down and watched.

Today is another gorgeous day... one of those that makes a person want to skip work/school, sit in the sun, and get a vitamin D treatment. Oh yeah. This evening is class til 10. Why did I take a night class that goes that late??? By 8 my mind is sludge. I wonder if the prof would mind if I knitted during the lecture to keep my brain working.
