Listening to: k d lang Shadowland
Seems like many of my recent projects have been pink. Proof: PeachyPink socks...
and a scarf, started yesterday, finished this morning, made from Malabrigo in Cactus Flower, using a Feather and Fan pattern stitch and size 11 US needles.
Most of my morning has been spent cleaning out bedroom closets and drawers, going through old, non-fitting clothes, and stowing away things I want to keep but don't wear often. It's really satisfying finish a job like that, to stand back and quietly gloat (or kick myself for not doing it sooner!).
It's cold and rainy today. Anna called yesterday and had no power in Springfield. We don't have ice, but the rain is nasty. Ron's been working on the furnace, but I think the next couple days we'll be relying on space heaters.
Next on the agenda is a black stretch suede skirt that has been cut out for a couple weeks. More later...
