This morning I finished one baby sweater minus buttons. I love the happy bright pink. The second sweater will be a bright yellow, and the plan is to put opposite color buttons on each (i.e. yellow buttons on the pink sweater... ). I've also printed off a ruffled baby hat pattern and think I'll have enough yarn left for one in each color.Specs:
Yarn - Classic Elite Provence
Pattern - Baby Cardigan
Next FO is the baby afghan done in Fan Lace. The pic is a closeup after blocking, and I'm tickled at how well it came out.

Specs:
Yarn - Sandesgarne Sisu
Pattern - my own devices based on Fan Lace pattern from a Barbara Walker Treasury - can't remember which one right now.
And now on to other thingies. Ron and Daniel came
up last weekend. The team I work with went together to get a party room at the Cardinals' game for Friday evening. What fun! All the baseball-game food and cool refreshing beverages you could consume. We had our own little closed room and seating section, and a nice view of the field. And we won. :) Here's my menfolk misbehaving...Saturday morning we went shopping for a sofa for the apartment. Found a nice Lane leather sofa with reclining ends in a sand color for a good price. Ron and Daniel struggled to get it up the steps (round a corner on the steps... ugh), and had to remove the door to get it through. It's lovely though, and so comfy that you don't want to get up!!
Gotta go - making a loaf of banana bread cause those last 'nanners won't make it through the weekend!
