Lethargy

Christmas Cheer
Christmas has come and gone, but not entirely disappeared. Aside from the leftover cookies and candies tempting me, we still have the late January celebration at my parents' house. Always love that one.

This year was especially sweet on Christmas Eve. We had dinner and gifting at the husband's aunt's house, which is always decorated beautifully. The food was delicious. And the twins... oh my goodness. Ella and Sophia. They are the daughters of my hub's cousin Crystal. Cute as buttons, smart, and kept us laughing.

Ch-ch-changes
Daniel has decided to make a complete turnabout in his schooling. He has dropped out of the university and is enrolled in a program at a small college close to my apartment. He'll be living with me for several months. Pray for me. Seriously.

Projects
There are still several things on my list. Some have moved to the finished pile, some have been ripped, and new things have been begun. I will update after the new year.

Plans
The first seed catalog arrived earlier this month. My daughter already has three, most likely because she actually orders from them. There are some tomatoes I'd like to try this year, along with the usual varieties. Last year we had some smaller ones that were delicious, but not tiny like cherry 'maters. I think they were First Lady or Early Girl. Nice size for lunch boxes and cutting for salads.

I like to have sweet yellow banana peppers too, for slicing and grilling. Don't care to eat them raw, but sauted or grilled... yummm. Perfect for making fajitas! My sister stuffs them with cheeses and bakes them with a marinara sauce. Oh, now I'm hungry and lunch is still 2 hours off.
