Not spring yet, but we did have some teaser days last weekend. Shirt-sleeve weather. And my youngest's 21st birthday! We took him to a redneck bar down the road (we will never go there again) where my brother's band was playing. It was a nice night out and nobody got too far gone.
The cows seem to think it's spring as well. Saturday also brought a new calf, the second for the year, and this week a third arrived. Rather early in the season, still pretty cold for the little fellas. They've been put up in the barnlot with their mommas so they have some shelter. Moo.
I've been busy with little knitting projects lately. Socks, scarves, a granny square afghan. Today I plan to finish up a tea cozy for my secret pal at church. Sunday afternoon we will all meet for snacks and reveal our pals. I need to find a basic 4-cup teapot, and plan to add some interesting teas and a little jar of honey. World Market, here I come!
