Listening to: I Want to Be In Love - Melissa Etheridge

Today I finished up the knitting on the Fireside Pullover and got the ends woven in. It needs a good steaming and a button decision. Do I add them or not? I'll pull a few out of stash and see how it looks with/without before adding button loops. One other dilemma is the bottom ribbing. I'm normally not a fan of it on me because it cups under my fat belly. I will try it on tomorrow and see how I like it with. If I don't care for it, I'll take the ribbing out and do splits on the sides. My last pullover was like that and I love the way it fits.

At knit group tonight I finished up another Virus Shawl, using a cotton color cake from Hobby Lobby. Still have ends to weave in, blocking, and tassels for the corners.

Sunday I started on a Wonderful Wallaby for the oldest granddaughter. It's lavender superwash worsted from Brown Sheep, bought at Tuesday Morning on the cheap. Seems like it will be a good tough weight to take hard wear and tear, and having it washable is a big plus. The sweater is a bottom-up in the round, and I've gotten to the point where you pick up stitches for the front pouch.

Next item on the needles that I want to get out of the way is the Anemone hat. I was all gung-ho on it, but now it is too small for a circular and I'm just too lazy to dig out DPs in the right size. I'm attempting to use the magic twist, but it has always seemed like a pain in the butt. Just going to have to push myself because it's SO close to a finish.

The weather has been fairly nice this week until today - woke up to rain, and it continued on and off all day.

I talked with the hubster today. He said they got haying done - the fall cutting is usually small square bales (early cutting goes into big round) - and I think he said they got 288. Of course, the track for the pulley needed repair. These things could have been done in bad weather, not when they needed to have it in working order.

I'm heading home on Friday. The plan is to start working my way through storage bins and pitch/donate so there is not as much to move when the time comes.
