Another finish!

Late last night...

Here's a quick shot of the wall hanging that I found down at the farm as a flimsy. I quilted wavy 'windy' lines in navy blue and made corners in the back and a pocket in the top middle to hang it. I have to say, the stars look a bit wonky, but that's the way it was supposed to be. I don't even have the pattern anymore, or it's squirreled away somewhere.

Speaking of squirrels

Lunch today was making two potholders from some leftover squares. Basic nine patch, with two layers of wool batting and a hanging loop. They are replacements for the ratty looking ones I have at the apartment, and I'm thinking I need a couple more for the farm. Those have burn holes and permanent stains.

I also found a bag full of discounted yarn from some (?) years ago. Several balls of pastel yellow and white, washable with wool and cashmere. Very soft indeedie, and have already begun crocheting some flower squares using Blossom Blanket. Free pattern at this link. It's also on ravelry.

Weird weather

Not sure what's going on. The weekend was hot - 90s and humid. Today it barely made 70, and just now it's misting and windy. I tried sitting on the deck for natural light while whipping the potholder bindings on, but just couldn't do it. So I'll watch Vera on britbox whilst stitching.
