Progress!

OOOOOO!!! Another sign of progress. Every little bit gets us farther.

Yes! Ignore the thumb please… that is smoke coming out of the chimney. Ronnie & Daniel got the flue connected and installed, and built a small fire in the wood stove.

I bought a new phone this weekend, an iphone 12 mini. Still trying to get used to it. There is no blogger app for ios, and the blog editing app that I did download had stinking ads for games every time you clicked. No way. So I have to view this as a webpage (teenie tiny) and edit that way. It also will not let me type a word that is not 'correct', even though I WANT to spell something in a weird way just for grins. Stinks. I am still trying to get all of my contacts entered - the old phone will not install the app to transfer, so it was definitely time for a new one.

Projects

• The blue socks are finished, another pair started. The current ones are with Pair Perfect in a deep teal with neutral stripes.
• The shawl is coming along nicely too. I’m just going to keep going until the yarn is used up or I’m tired of it!
• There is a loaf of whole wheat sourdough rising. It’ll be baked at lunchtime if ready. And finally (at least for today) I plan to cut out a Trillium top, practice fitting for the linen dress. The top is a blue-greenie batik.
