Mixed Bag

 Happenings

The weather has been lovely. Sleeping with the windows open, adding a light afghan to the quilt and snuggling in to read till I can’t keep the eyelids in the On position makes for a great night’s sleep. I am still on the job hunt, sending my resume for a few positions, but no luck yet. I am not looking for anything big and demanding, just enough to pay rent and provide insurance. Not even close to giving up yet!

Projects

Last weekend I picked up another quilt from Carol. She will be taking a break until after Christmas to take on some of her own projects. This morning I cut binding for this last one, and hope to get it sewn on tomorrow.

Going down the list for this last week of finishes:
  • Hemmed Lisa’s mom-of-the-groom gown.
  • Finished knitting Cara’s Antler sweater.
  • Sewed Cara’s Geranium dress.
  • Finished “spider” wall hanging and Anvil table center
  • Cut, sewn and gifted baby quilt, flannel receiving blanket, knitted toy elephant

Projects in Progress

  • Suavest Ease vest
  • Bynx cowl
  • Polymer clay buttons for Antler cardigan
  • Binding - current scrap quilt
  • Oh, so many more …
The End, for now.
