This and that
The last month has been a whirlwind. Or maybe just a dirt devil? The new job is exciting and keeps me on my toes. There is so much to learn. I love the ladies that I work with. And a couple men too, but it’s mostly ladies. The company is very generous with days off. Vendors seem to be bringing in goodies almost every week - a cocoa bar, breakfast sammies, donuts, bagels, etc. and calendars, pens, notepads. We had a Christmas party lunch, and they provided fried chicken and drinks, and we all took sides and desserts.
Christmas Eve was a family thing at Crystal’s house. We all brought snacks, finger foods, and there were plenty of cookies and candy. It was really relaxing and cleanup was easy. Our small family gathering will be next Saturday for breakfast at Anna’s. I still have some gifts to finish and / or collect.
Projects
Ronnie already got his gift…
Fingering weight from Leading Men Fiber. The orange has a touch of cashmere, which I didn’t realize until it was pretty far along. I think he models it well! It’s a double layer, very warm, but pretty lightweight.
I finished th November sweater except for blocking. It fits nicely and looks great with a bright scarf. There’s plenty of yarn left over.
